Gopal says, “Your body is your greatest ally, and you must treat it with the utmost care. To maintain the prime health of your body, you must ensure that it gets all the resources it needs to function properly, and nothing is better than adding the best to your plate.”

So here are 9 foods to add to your diet for instant energy:

1. Fruits and vegetables

You can never go wrong with eating fruits and vegetables. They will provide your body with nutrients such as antioxidants, vitamins, carbohydrates, fiber, and other essential minerals it needs to keep you energized.

2. Whole grains and complex carbs

Unlike refined carbs, whole grains and complex carbs will have the full benefits of the grain and they will also add carbohydrates and fiber to your diet. As a result, they can give you a quick shot of energy.

3. Nuts and seeds

Eating nuts and seeds on a daily basis is the best-proven way to beat fatigue and fight hunger. Almonds, Brazil nuts, cashews, hazelnuts, pecans, walnuts, sunflower seeds, and pumpkin seeds are the perfect mid-afternoon snack.

4. Bananas
