Since the body experiences less thirst during the winter, it is advised not to rely solely on thirst to determine when to consume water. Even when your body doesn’t indicate a need for water, you should still drink enough fluids throughout the day. Don’t load up on artificially sweetened beverages and alcohol! 1. Herbal teas
Herbal teas are a good way to combat dehydration because they are caffeine free. One of these teas is chamomile tea, which you can try. It is made from the chamomile flower and is used to treat a wide range of health issues. It is an organic natural tea made without preservatives. It helps to relieve muscle cramps and treats sleep disturbances. Additionally, it is believed to soothe anxiety, get rid of gas, improve digestion, lessen menstrual cramps, and promote relaxation.
2. Turmeric milk
Golden milk or turmeric milk is a great beverage to have before night. By keeping the body warm, this yellow latte can aid in restful sleep and make you feel pleasant even in the coldest conditions. It also has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Although the nutrients and therapeutic qualities of turmeric cannot hydrate your body directly, they can assist improve your overall health. But remember, milk is hydrating.
